The Gaelic Football Championship badly needs a strong Dublin. Can anything be done to improve them? From the bits I saw, they looked very ooor against Awrmaw last Sunday.

Ah will you go away. We got a strong Dublin for a decade and it nearly ruined the game. Football is in a great place right now. We have far more viable All-Ireland candidates in football than hurling. Dublin coming back to the pack has been great.

I once attended a Premier League match between Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United (RIP). This had a start time of 7:40pm but they were up front as to why this the start time. It was because it was the 50th anniversary of VE Day and there was a two minutesâ silence across Britain to be held at 8:38pm that evening.

Major League Baseball games regularly start at 7 and 37 minutes past the hour. Probably just a case of the GAA aping MLB.
Maybe the GAA should start a competition called the Aer Lingus Cup with matches starting at 3:20, 3:40, 7:37 and 7:47.
Major League Baseball should do a 9/11 tribute by having matches start at 8:46, 9:03, 9:11, 9:59 and 10:28.

The leinster u20 hurling was at 7 35 a few weeks ago. Think it was to do with tg4 nuacht before it only ending at 7 25.

Leinster Championship Titles had stopped meaning anything. Even the most recent All Ireland wins were taken for granted by a lot of supporters. A few unsuccessful years will change that.
2023 was a great hoolie to be fair. 2019 was an emotional one as well. 2020 we were all under Tony rule.
2018 was the only one I remember really taken for granted agaisnt poor opposition and the focus was already on the five.
