I’m told the Ger lyons horse is fancied in fairyhouse at 4/1 in the next race

Would help if he didn’t run an extra furlong compared to the rest. Mcgonnigle fairly opened the door for Cromwell’s of which there was loads of money for

Only saw on my phone. He completely missed the kick I thought but barely got to see.

A buddy of mine had a big bet on the Easterbuy horse that came second in the July cup.

He banged the table and just goes it’s fucking relentless. I feel his pain.

Biggest price winner of the race ever.

true story — I had a few quid on winner.

I take my hat off to you putting horses up -we all know its difficult and I would class myself as excellent at punting- its not only picking horses with chances but you have to be backing at right prices that’s where most people fall down imo. I don’t look at any prices the previous night now as the prices are pointless. Its turning into an awful shit show now as only 1 bookie price anything up reasonably now and they all wont lay a bet unless its less than a tenner (unless you are shane reveille!). Anyway it is what it is and I cant see it changing for the better.

If I may make a genuine point without inviting abuse??
I’m sure picking horses and punting them is a genuine pastime and can bring great pleasure, I play fantasy NFL and I’d sometimes look back at a trade that made me money with satisfaction.
Following somebody else’s ‘tips’, I’m not so sure, you’d really want to be up a nice few quid,

I don’t follow anyone’s tips religiously- I would take note of someone who is a good judge(and I can count them on 2 fingers these days!) and who looks at the prices before selecting a horse like the aforementioned applecrumble but you have to make up your mind yourself as its your money you are parting with.

It’s all about value.

it is and it isn’t! Value doesn’t pay the bills!

There is no point backing something at 33/1 that starts at 3/1 and loses unless you lay off stake etc as one cant back all 33/1 shots that start at 3/1! Anyway everyone punts different and as long as you are enjoying it is the main thing!
