No, pensions. The vat was a different issue. He owed about 1.5m or so, but with interest and fees agreed a settlement of over 2m with revenue. I know some of it was being paid back, but i dont know on that one how much was sorted when he was declared bankrupt and what revenue got.
Actually part of that revenue issue was a few hundred thousand gifted or part of his company costs offset to wexford youths ground development in ferrycarrig. He did a huge amount to get the club off the ground, more than most, and the break of him from the club was fairly bad all round, but it is one of the decent things he did achieve, its a shame how it all ended up between the club and him, but needed to be done too.

So many political parties are borne out of eras of conflict in so many parts of the world. Iām not in any way suggesting that McGuinness was a Mandela figure, but as an example, Mandela was a man mired in violent struggle, who chose peace, an example of a transition in resistance from an armed struggle to political means which has inspired since the end of apartheid. The establishment parties, and itās media mouthpiece has since Sinn Fein emerged as a political threat have quite visibly pulled out every stop to keep their foot on the throat of the republican party as a means of survival. I get why they do it. I understand it. Itās politics.
