I’m with @Massive_Attack on this. Dublin had a far more positive approach. It depresses me looking at how negatively coached Galway are. Dublin were there for the taking. Imho, Galway should have ran hard at Dublin from the off. Dublin had a harder few weeks and instead of emptying them, Galway generously let them fill up and leave some gas in the tank to finish them off. After the fiasco of the AI final of '24, the writing aas clearly on the wall. The Galway county board are highly culpable in allowing it to get to this.

These semi-finals have a massive bang of 2004.
Mayo will struggle over Louth by 2 or 3 points, much like they struggled over Fermanagh in 2004.
Kerry will put Dublin to the sword with minimum fuss, like they did in the 2004 quarter-final and indeed in the same way they did to Derry in the 2004 semi-final.
Kerry will make clean shit of Mayo in the final, like they did in 2004.
All Kobe McDonald will be left with with after his one year with Mayo, as all any Mayo footballer is ever left with, is an All-Ireland final loser’s medal (do such things exist?)
This new format and new rules and playing it in June/July have been a disaster, crowds way down. No buzz about the championship at all.
