Jesus, Mulgrew had about 20 yards to make sure that ball didnât hit him on the arm and he still didnât manage it. Should have been a penalty.
Mulgrew lucky not to concede a penalty there. Bizarre decision not to red card McLean too.
I donât think it was a penalty, Mulgrewâs arms are down by his side and he hasnât made any unnatural move intercept the ball with his hand.
I think he can get out of the way of it. Heâs far enough away from the ball that itâs completely inept to handle it. He is inept, so he has that excuse, but it should still be a penalty - arms by your side can still be a handball if youâre using your arms by your side to control the ball.
