Who could begrudge the Dogs in any normal year. But I’d love to see the Demons do it for Jimmy Stynes and Sean Wight.
Here’s a classic Melbourne-Footscray match of yesteryear to whet the appetite. The last ten or fifteen minutes are fantastic as Melbourne fight back to win and knock Footscray out of the finals race on their own ground, and then they hear that Hawthorn have done them a favour in another match to put them in the finals for the first time in donkey’s years.
