AFL Season 2019

great game between West Coast and Melbourne at the moment on BT1. Liam Ryan just took a screamer of a mark in the goal square to get them in front now by a goal

Ben and Sam Reid playing each other and marking each other at the SCG this evening as the Swans take on the Magpies cc @anon61878697
47 - 44 to Collingwood with 10 left in the 3rd. Given how well Collingwood finish matches, you’d have to fancy them to kick on and win it.

53 - 44 now.

Here comes Buddy!!!
Swans turn it around, 56 - 53

Allir Allir is a great bit of stuff. Swans tackling desperately here, turning into a good match.

5 goals in the quarter for the Swans to 2 from Collingwood.
62 - 54 at three quarter time to the Swans. Michael O’Loughlin’s in the crowd. I take this as an omen.
Cracking 4 th quarter coming up.

Have they done enough ? Swans will fade

Probably, Collingwood could easily smack us around the place in the 4th.

A decent attendance for Sydney? Or is it the attraction of the Pies?

Dunno mate, haven’t seen the attendance nunbers, but you’d think Friday night against Collingwood at the SCG would be well attended. We should ask @Chucks_Nwoko who is no doubt there.

Magpies score two majors in minute. 67 - 64 to them.

Fair enough just didn’t think AFL was that big in Sydney. Certainly wasn’t when I lived there in 04.

On another note, that number 4 for Collingwood is some size of a man

Ye couldn’t turn a swate in your mout here.

74 -64

74 - 72, 5.30 to go

Things have changed a bit with AFL in Sydney since 2004.

Jordan Roughead, he’s a big unit alright, he just went off qith a busted bleeding nose.

Sorry, it was Brodie Grundy who went off with the nise, but Roughead is off as well.

Go Swans

Is Colin O Riordan playing?

Hon the pies.

Collingwood win 80 - 73. We were a lot more competitive than I thought we’d be, against the second best team in the competition, so improving.
Sam Reid was excellent, probably motivated by playing against his big brother. There’s no real stand outs in this relatively young team, but they’re working hard amd beginning to get it together.
Players standing together against racism niw which is great.
The AFL has a lot if work to do on violence at matches this season though, there’s been some shocking stuff this year.
