Just out of curiosity I had a look at that photobucket account to see whatās there. He has an AFR folder with a good few pages of GAA photos - at least half of them women, particularly from Page 5 on.
But then I noticed a couple of folders to the side and good god.
Thereās a fucking hilarious folder called AFF. Check it out! (not in work probably)
Intriguingly five of the seven images in that account are banned for violating the terms of use. The content of the two that remain leaves one in little doubt as to what was there!
An eagle eyed poster on here pointed this out to us earlier this summer. Truly shocking stuff. Is the Mary Leacy Folder still there?
Yeah on a serious note I have nothing against the place at all - used to lurk there the odd bit to pass time in work but registration didnāt work for me for ages so kind of went away from it again.
But thereās a definite need for a good GAA board out there. There are soccer boards and rugby boards and GAA boards so TFK isnāt trying to compete with any of them and Iād take no pleasure in seeing a site like that lose its charm or anything.
But is it not as busy as ever, just different users and a different attitude?
One thingās for sure: the moderation of the place will never be taken seriously while he runs it like he does. You canāt have multiple aliases as the admin and you canāt be inconsistent and personal in your bannings.
Back when Bandage used to prefer Wexford to Celtic heād spend all day in work on AFR and Iād be sitting beside him on thehuddleboard - always looked like it was good banter then.
Bizarre stuff, alright, but Iād find it hard to believe that AFR (or anybody)would be dumb enough to put a folder like that on the internet. A cyber-squatter on photobucket under the name liamcahill, perhaps?
I was a relative latecomer to AFR.com, so could anyone explain to me the origins of the AFR v PV dispute?
Well he didnāt dispute that the photo was his earlier so I think itās pretty certain that theyāre his photos. Plus when you go through the album itās fairly clear theyāre used for AFR.
Didnāt realise it was known previously Mac. Some cyber-detective I am!

It wasnāt posted here Rocko so youāre the first to officially point it out. Although thereās at least 2 others that have seen those photos before but in the interests of protecting their internet stalking abilities they shall remain nameless.

premierview is good enough for the hurling as most of the boys knowtheir stuff but its too much pro tipp and fuck the restā¦
as for the moderation, maybe he would have been as well off letting a couple of the power users do a bit of moderating(bit late for this) as it would have got rid of a good few low class wummers out of thereā¦
there was some serious banter on it in fairness a lot of the lads were so sharp they would cut you to the bone an som serious high class wumming but a lot have left(a few over here) and the ones that are still there seem to be sick of the wummers and hav lost the heart for itā¦
I think itās hard to deny itās AFRās folder, who would upload that amount of photos just to pretend to be someone else? Alot of the stuff is very AFR related aswell, pictures of AFR caps etc. And as said above he didnāt deny it was his account. Itās not a big deal that he has a few girly photos up there but it is funny!
As for the PV v AFR spat Iāve no idea what went on there. Must have been a few nasty emails going back and forth or something.
Must say I like this place in that itās moderated maturely and thereās none of that sad political stuff.
Moderated sensibly in that the moderaters here daringly allow users to use Roman numerals with impunity, Runty. There is the ātalking ballsā quality control system aswellā¦ gets most of the jennets out.
I see TFK gets a mention on his email but he can rest assured that Rocko and I have nothing to do with whatever heās on about.
I posted on AFR until I began to dislike the place and moved away from it - basically, only having the odd glance over there when this thread was bumped to notify us of something or other that was going on.
Frankly, I donāt give a shit about AFR but Iām not going to stop anyone from discussing it on here as it doesnāt break any code of decency or conduct.
In addition, I never set up multiple accounts over there and I certainly have no intention of ever doing so. Itās simply not very important to me.
One thing I would say, Iām pretty certain that when Cormac/Fallon was posting up articles on AFR, and left up his personal email address at the botom of the posts, that mail address was identical to one that Liam Cahill himself uses: http://liamcahill.com/untitled2.html
So, itās a bit rich of him to come along and say āsaddosā associated with TFK are setting him up. Itās got nothing to do with us if he wants to set up multiple aliases on his own site to antagonise posters from certain counties, rile them into arguments and ultimately drive more hits on his site.
Good luck to him and rock on by all means - as I say, I donāt care. But to suggest Rocko or I are behind some campaign when the evidence clearly points out what is in fact going on is frankly a bit silly.

along long time ago in a galaxy farfar awayā¦ there were 3 lads, lets call them liam, martin and pj were all good buddies talking about hurling, but it all got very nasty
