Very reminiscent of this on terms of style.
The boss man has moved onto his eternal end it seems
Thatās very sad if true.
Sincerest condolences to anyone who knew him. RIP.
Very sad news.
AFR was great craic on its day.
I didnāt know much about AFR or the INTERNET wars of the early 21st century, but I did meet Liam before who helped me out on a project I worked on. He gave me plenty of his time, and we went for a carvery somewhere in Meath afterwards. RIP.
RIP Liam, provided most of us here a platform of inrernetting carnage in the early days and there was some craic too. Checked to here one last time.
Easy knowing Gary isnāt involved in running Twitter otherwise weād be hearing the news tomorrow.
R.I.P., Jesus he put up with some shit when you think of it
RIP Liam
Was still very active on social media recently.
Sad to hear that
Sad to hear that. AFR was a great outlet back in tne day, think we moved the that/ClareHurlers from the public folders in UL.
RIP Liam.
Jaysus what age was he? The auld AFR thing got away from him. He was onto something though, pity he couldnāt tame it. May he RIP an internet pioneer of sorts
Are you Gary from crystalsoft?
RIP AFR.
whatever about the demise of the place and his peculiarities, he provided a good e-house for a load of geeks, weirdos and tipp fans.
I donāt know what crystal soft is but am intrigued now
Thereād be no TFK without AFR.
AFR was incredibly random and unlike anything else when it was going in the noughties. RIP Liam.
Thatās a fact
The GAA Discussion Board was the original. This became dominated by a group of headstrong Armagh and Tyrone posters with edgelord tendencies to the exclusion of everybody else. That forum also made a fatal mistake in splitting topics into GAA and everything else.
When AFR came along any hurling discussion pretty much vanished from it.
Poor Tony Fearon getting it in the neck stillā¦ā¦.RIP Liam.
