Congratulations to the United States of America who have claimed the famous old Aga Khan trophy by winning the 2017 Nations Cup at the Royal Dublin Society showgrounds on a perfect total of 0 faults.

The all female team of Lauren Hough, Lillie Keenan, Elizabeth Madden and Laura Kraut proved that American women really are the best at riding.

With the US experiencing disastrous times diplomatically, this foreign mission thankfully ended with no fences having to be mended - but that’s down to the influence of Kraut, who anchored the Yanks and clinched the victory with a clear round. A sweet performance.

This is a team of stars who have well and truly earned their stripes.

OMFG we’re king of Europe.

Ireland team manager Rodrigo Pessoa has announced the Ireland team for next Friday’s Nations Cup at the Dublin Horse Show - Mark McAuley, Cameron O’Shea, Billy Twomey and Paul O’Shea.

Irelands first two riders clear.

Mexico have won their first ever Aga Khan trophy.

Be great if they could win the Puissance too - Mexicans are great at jumping over walls.
