Air 2 water heating

Got this dehumidifier via Amazon
Arrived without drainage hose,
Got onto both vendor and Amazon Customer care
Both put the onus on each other to rectify situation,
Amazon offered refund,
But I told them I needed a hose not refund,
Tooing and frooing on live chat,
Eventually she said we will refund you the full amount,
I asked what about the unit?
What’ll I do with it?
Keep it or dump it I was told,
DELIGHTED as I can source a hose somewhere I presume

Can’t bate coal from South Armagh

Eamonnn effing Ryan?

Incredibly the TFK go-to solution (thumb-hole) hasn’t been suggested yet.
I’d advise a gallon on petrol and burn the place to the ground A2W and all.
Luckily you’re in Cork, we have an operative living locally who’ll help out.
You collect the insurance and start over without the troublesome piece of shit.

Burning smokeless coal can have significant impacts on air quality and can cause various health issues.

Impact on Air Quality: Burning smokeless coal, like other types of coal, releases pollutants into the air. These pollutants include sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), particulate matter (PM), and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). These substances can contribute to the formation of smog and acid rain, and they can also penetrate deep into the lungs, causing respiratory issues

1

. Additionally, burning coal releases carbon monoxide (CO) and heavy metals such as mercury and lead, which can have severe environmental and public health impacts

.

Health Issues: The pollutants released from burning smokeless coal can cause a range of health problems. These include:

  • Respiratory Diseases: Exposure to sulfur dioxide and particulate matter can lead to asthma, bronchitis, and other chronic respiratory diseases

1

.

  • Cardiovascular Diseases: Particulate matter and carbon monoxide can exacerbate heart conditions and increase the risk of heart attacks

1

.

  • Neurological Problems: Heavy metals like mercury and lead can damage the nervous system, leading to neurological disorders

2

.

  • Cancer: Long-term exposure to certain pollutants from coal combustion, such as arsenic and cadmium, can increase the risk of cancer

3

.

  • Other Health Issues: Burning coal can also contribute to the development of diseases like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and type 2 diabetes due to the inflammation and oxidative stress caused by air pollutants
