If I remember correctly they got hockeyed in that fixture losing to a cricket score in the end-an embarrassment to the the proud history of LOI clubs in Europe. Every one horse club in Ireland can claim a one off fixture as “big time” but you have to do it consistently to be “big time” like Shamrock Rovers or Waterford United.

We are in a recession. They already had a converted two storey house with a decent sized boardroom on a large site in a prominent location. An extension to the existing premises would have been a far cheaper solution. I find if very very difficult to justify spending 3.5 million on that project to be honest.

You dont have to justify anything. The trouble is, neither does he or his lackies and associated hangers on. Most of these clowns, can I say fucking clowns, have hardly worked a day in their lives and yet seem to have all the trappings of good jobs. Must be some expenses check is all I can say.
