Every one horse club in Ireland can claim a one off fixture as “big time” but you have to do it consistently to be “big time” like Shamrock Rovers or Waterford United.
We are in a recession. They already had a converted two storey house with a decent sized boardroom on a large site in a prominent location. An extension to the existing premises would have been a far cheaper solution. I find if very very difficult to justify spending 3.5 million on that project to be honest.
