It’s obviously very easy to win All Irelands in hurling.
Intent I don’t know and can’t know. Dangerous play, look there are fine margins in the game sometimes. Very little between a great block and a rap on the wrists sometimes. Nobody seems to mention that Barrett changed direction completely at the last minute, which Hogan can’t have predicted. A yellow no doubt, a red, not for me. You could argue all day about it, I’ll leave it here though.
Even John Mullane is finding this hard work on the radio. Probably the worst championship of all time

Rules and the actual foul easily allowed for a yellow. You don’t send off a former HOTY in an All Ireland Final unless you have conclusive open and shut evidence

KK have massively over-achieved in getting to the final. Cody’s last great achievement may not be another All-Ireland, but by somehow keeping them near the top long enough for a new generation to take over.
