All-Ireland Football Championship 2022

Kildare should be 5 or 6 up here

He played very well against Dublin in the league. Think he was the keeper on that U20 All-Ireland winning team in 2018.

COC is an awful cunt

Oh Jesus, just sums up the night for the poor chap.

What a team.

Ah the poor fella.

Ah Jaysus - insult to injury

Steady on lad.

That was great. Highly enjoyable game. Kildare look to have all the players. Hard one that for them. They play lovely football. Mayo climb back up again.

If ever you wanted to do a highlights reel as to why a keeper should be a keeper first and foremost, that performance has it all… even up to the end where he was the extra man in attack he didn’t actually know what to do when he got the ball…

His forays forward were aimless looking alright

Mayo are the definition of box office. They will therw the kitchen sink at it as usual but those forwards are unlikely to be strong enough to win it. Tommy goals is a huge loss.

Nice footballers Kildare but Agin Dublin their backs played like a team fromthe 90s … today the backs were a lot better but from midfield up they played like a team from the 90s …

The thing is I think he actually has all the tools to be a very good goalkeeper but his head went early in that match.

That’s twice now in the last 11 months Mayo have shown they are on a completely different level of conditioning to teams on the next rung down, the other being the Connacht final against Galway. In both of those matches they were absolutely floundering and then suddenly turned it on like like a tap.

And arguably they did it against Dublin.

They are a team with a remarkable range of performance. When they bring the rage they can do anything.

Thats about as classic mayo as you’ll ever see.

Few lads writing their obituaries earlier looking silly now.

They’ll win fuck all still mind

Who’ll beat Mayo in the final this year I wonder?
