I liked the idea that the winning team of the provincial championships gets home advantage in the all Ireland semi final like say in the nfl. A real reward for winning your province.
Kerry mayo in the Gaelic grounds and Kilkenny Waterford were incredible all Ireland semi replays played in provincial grounds.

Team who finishes top of the groups in Munster and Leinster should get it too. And if it’s Clare or Waterford maybe let them pick where they want it.
Some atmosphere, a top quality television product, one can only imagine how many children will see this on television and be hooked on the sport for life as a result.

Keelan Sexton strikes for Clare. Umpire adjudges that it crossed the line.
An own goal sees Clare hit the front.
That last Roscommon point was another example of how the consciousness of the attacking mark has not hit home with a lot of players. The Roscommon player ended taking the shot from play under pressure (successfully as it happened) from pretty much the same spot he refused the mark.
Clare are playing a lovely brand of football here.
Decent game of ball, this.

A Jackie Tyrell special there.
The Cian McKeon point? That was some score to be fair.
Yeah but he had the mark from the same position if he wanted.
Clare are making space up front more effectively than Roscommon.
Another beauty from Sexton.
But you suspect Clare will tire quicker.
Two scores for Roscommon in injury time, the second self inflicted by Clare.
The difference between 1-10 to 1-6 and 1-10 to 1-8 feels significant.
I’d fancy Roscommon to grind it out in the second half and win by three or four.
