I’d argue that Mayo’s ability to get punched in the mouth and get back up and go again is unrivalled. They’re and admirable football county. Players deserve more than this paltry crowd, but it really does look the end of the era. It’s a shame. They are unfailingly taking the wrong option so far. It’s a bit depressing, watching something like that in irreversible decline.
