Breaking News:

Clare v Wexford moved to Páirc Ui Rinn due to lack of interest.

Sure jaysus you couldn’t be expecting the Clare diehards to travel all the way to CORK!!

Any Wexford posters concerned about Davy’s body-language need not worry. I met him yesterday and he was in great form and looking forward to it.

He also thinks Limerick will beat Kilkenny.

Hopefully you told him not to be too harsh on the U21s for letting off steam after the Galway defeat. We can’t afford to leave ROC on the bench and go too far behind early on with the way we set up.

I’m actually surprised by the amount of Clare support I have witnessed so far. More than I expected.

Buff Egan even got a bep of the hooter when I passed him

Banner roasters in the majority in Ballintemple certainly

I just want us to convert at least 8 frees from every 10 scoreable frees awarded. If we yet again blaze frees wide from 50 yards out, straight in front of goal, then I’ll probably cry. I also want us to win.

Nobody from Wexford attended the launch of the All Ireland series earlier this week, not even Chin. Surely that translates to us meaning business and having a steely focus in the world of the GAA cliche. On the other hand, Clare were written off after the Munster Final and will have a point to prove.

The talk is that Cleary is dropped for Fitzgerald

We have a lot of players who need to step up today, not least Chin. I am worried about the lack of leadership on the field. We seem to be totally controlled by the system and the sideline and don’t look like we have an original thought in our heads or any flexibility in making decisions to affect what is actually happening on the pitch.
Which is why a good start is vital. We can’t allow Clare to dictate the terms of the match. We have the forwards to take scores, today is when they have to change the low scoring Wexford approach.
