Ye might actually win something if that was the case
I heard an interesting tale last night that all lads in the 40 or so on the extended panel get a day on the matchday panel in order to be eligible for the 1000 euro payment from the GPA.
In 1997 Tipperary after losing a Munster final beat Wexford the Leinster champions in all Ireland semi but lost to the Munster champions in all Ireland final .
Proper fucking order if so.

Itās a regular thing done by counties in the lower tiers. Playing league games doesnāt make you eligible for the grant. Youāve to be named on a championship panel. I remember one county naming someone whoād done their shoulder or knee in the league in a championship panel so heād get the grant.
KK team smacks of desperation. Cody throws the dice. Genius if it works. Could be the end of him otherwise
That Donnelly lad did some damage when he came on last year against Limerick, Cork backs will leak as much as their forwards will score. KK will need 3 goals and they will get them too. Something around 3-19 to 1-23
That Cork defence is cat but the Catās forwards are cat also.
They will need 3 of the 6 to fire Reid, Mullen and Fennelly.
Whoever wins this will have the momentum of a runaway train
Where are you seeing the desperation- in playing a potentially injured/unfit Buckley & Hogan?
Any decent setup will have a very good idea of how ready they are. Sharpness maybe not, but they are quality hurlers. Hogan did a lot of damage this time last year and hadnāt done a whole lot before it.
Agreedā¦ I think the winning of it will be forcing Cork backs to langer ball away under severe pressureā¦ Not sure those are the forwards for itā¦ Still, If you could get a big 40 odd minutes out of Richie Hogan with Wally to come inā¦ Who knows.
Buckley couldnāt run against Wexford and heās starting against the paciest half forwards in the game. Conor Browne has at most a few minutes championship experience. Donnelly hasnāt started in a year. Hogan has been terrible this year. His legs would seem to be gone. A lot has to go right for the changes to work out.
Edit - Donnelly may have started v Carlow
If itās a shootout, Cork will definitely win.
The key to beating Cork is stopping them at source; bar Harnedy they donāt really have a top class puckout target but Nash normally hits runners into space. If Kilkenny can stop them there and stop their backs running out with the ball, theyāll have a great chance.
To that end, Iām very surprised Walsh isnāt starting, his work rate is very good.
Kilkenny will be fighting right to the death. Cork, they choked last year in the semi and even with Bill Cooper itās not hard to invisage this happening again, theyāve always been a flakey outfit, complete opposite to KK. If KK get anything out of Ritchy theyāll win. Surely heās looking at what TJs been doing and knows heās gonna have to step it up
Walsh is just after minor surgery
Any Laois team???
First 15 to get from Gills onto the pitch get the start
