All Ireland Hurling Final 2014- Kilkenny vTipperary

I’m going with Tipperary tomorrow too. I stuck with Cork last year out of stubbornness despite warning signs in drawn game. I see a few similarities in this game so I’m discarding my original Kilkenny prediction. My great pal @Manuel Zelaya has helpfully covered off the reasoning earlier this evening. Tipperary didn’t even raise their game all that much in the last 10 minutes to drag themselves level with points. They were able to stroll through and tap points over after earlier missing a glut of goal chances. Kilkenny looked like an old, ragged unit at the end. Tipperary will batter them tomorrow.

I think tomorrow’s game will be very similar to 2012, Kilkenny under Cody are a breed of animal that you have to beat on the first day. Tipp came as close as Galway did a couple of years ago and I fear the game and result tomorrow will be fairly similar tomorrow to 2012’s replay. Hope I’m wrong.

Tipp have a good balanced team, and , more importantly, six forwards. That Galway came so close was a indication of kilkenny’s slide. Look, I really don’t like to call lads out, but there are people on the kk squad who wouldn’t have got anywhere near it a few years back.

I’m Galway, not tipp, but having suffered the last decade of kk dominance, I’d like to see tipp win it out tomorrow. I’d like to see lar Corbett get another. He has been the butt of a lot of jibes, but he is a thoroughbread when he is motoring.

His performance in the 2nd half at centre forward in the drawn game is why Cody has being scrambling with changes, he ripped them apart and was very unlucky to not get one of the best goals ever goals in an All Ireland final. He is a class act and I’ll admit I wrote him off after watching the semi against Cork but he was carrying an injury apparently and didn’t play with the club the week after.
