Limerick would have taken this if you offered it to them this morning. But they should be 6 or 7 up. Galway have been beaten everywhere and are still alive. Limerick just lacking a bit of composure and not landing the shots they need to with Galway teetering.
Galway have ground out results before but they look very lifeless here. No kick in either Clare game suggests they might not have the energy. Despite the wides one burst from Limerick might do it. If they do go 6+ up Galway don’took like they’re coming back.
I thought it’d be a better game. Maybe there’s something to be said for the heavier ball after all.

Galway in 1st gear and still only a score off of winning. Limerick can’t keep up the lucky streak.
Owens blew Mannion up for steps within first 4 mins, he has let lads do as they pls steps wise since.

Limerick should be much further ahead. Limerick forwards have got on a load of ball, but conversely the Galway forwards have done fuck all. Conor Cooney with 3 touches and 3 wides, Mannion got his first touch right at the end of the half. But Conor Whelan badly needs to get on the ball if Galway are to win this one. Limerick forwards are constantly moving and switching positions, Galway lads leaden footed. Very noticeable on puck outs.
