Limerick exposed a lot at the back, Dessie will get his 2 goals yet. Gleeson the best player on the pitch despite Morrisseys castration attempt. Waterford rally cry, Do it for Taidh. They’ll win this pulling up once they start hurling

If Barron can get motoring at all in second half, Waterford could be back in with a chance. Still can’t see this Limerick team being stopped.

Considering how much they have been outplayed by Limerick, Waterford will be delighted with a 3 point deficit.

Blaas never got going till before HT. They’re well in this if they can give Hutchinson a bit of space.
Lk tackling is essentially to rubby tackle their opponents, in a pack, wearing them down, they concede a few frees but sure they’ve already eliminated TDB and it wears opponents down. Ref afraid to punish this rubby/hurling hybrid

Waterford have basically had no platform in attack and have managed to stay in touch off the scraps. If they did find a way to start running at the Limerick backs they might do real damage. Big if though. Limerick have most of their key men quietened.
Kudos to SOK for the double save, rode his luck a little with the shot placement. Limerick had to score there. Second shooter probably could have caught it and buried it.

Game is bubbling under nicely, both on the field and on here.
Waterford will count themselves very lucky to be in touch given how Limerick have dominated and the loss of TDB. Saying that Waterford have created a few very good goal chances, and while missing them, will be confident of creating a few more. Gleeson hasnt caught fire yet, nor have most of their forwards.
All in all, a lovely second half to come yet.
