I have friends coming over from the States next week. One has no interest in hurling, his partner an American tells me itās her dream in life to go to the All Ireland hurling final. I very nicely told her to pick a more realistic dream.
They are and fellas are opportunisticā¦a club mate of yours had a poster for the drom Bradford monster draw onto a WhatsApp group Iām in with him within an hour of the final whistle Sunday ā¦Iād say he sold a good few tickets too
Agreed, but Kelly is clearly injured and it has been much worse/more niggling than he or Clare were letting on. Two more weeks is likely to show further improvement.
Hard to look past cork though.
Think the impact of the bench will be massive if itās close with 20 minutes to go.
Taylor and galvin made a huge difference in turning the momentum Clares way last Saturday. Galvin is very hard to stop with good low ball and clare gave up the crazy long distance shooting, even when the pressure was on in the second half.
Cork didnāt get much out of Kingston or o Flynn. Of course Kingston is capable of serious damage when heās on his game.
They didnāt really do this on Saturday though. They had 10 shots from play in the first half and all were pretty much on. 5 went over, Rodgers had a goal effort saved and Reidy and Ryan hit wides inside the 40 while David Mc and Cleary both hit wides on the 65 when they were unmarked.
Both sides really struggled to get shots off into the canal end.
