All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship 2015
No atmosphere in the Gaelic Grounds?
Limk v Tipp 2007, Limk vTipp in 2013 & Cork in Munster Final 2013 probably the best 3 atmospheres i have ever experienced.

Wonder will it be played in Ennis?

You fuckin mug!
Cusack park is a shit hole but an atmospheric one with a great summer pitch. The GG is a piece of shit from top to bottom.

I like places like Cusack park. Great atmosphere on a summer night.
Limerick is cat.

GG not a great stadium by any means, but to say it has no atmosphere on a big match day is simply incorrect.

The Acoustics in the stadium are terrible, no noise is trapped. The only reason there is any semblance of an atmosphere is due to sheer numbers. Ask any Tipp inbred what Cusack park was like in 2012 for the U21 game with 15k watching, ask a Cork man about the pairc during one of the Munster finals with Waterford in the mid 00’s. That was real atmosphere

Only when fairly full. GG is like a morgue with small crowds. Cusack Park is tiny so it’s easy have a good atmosphere.

How many Munster finals did Cork and Waterford contest in the Pairc in the mid 00’s as a matter of interest?

Tipp played there 4 times in the 1987 Munster Championship, great spot for a hurling match, Nicky scored 2-04 in a 4-17 to 0-08 demolition of the savages in the Semi-Final replay, he smiled that day too.

The situation with the sod in Thurles is serious. I’m hearing Excavators may have to move in.

Once it’s ok for the County Final in October, fuck the munster council.

Magic of the Leinster? Kilkenny lifting the Leinster every year?

Lads going on on about the great atmosphere in Cusack Park and it about 10k too small to hold a Munster Championship match. Welcome to the big leagues lads.

Limerick will do just fine on a wet day. Drink like fishes, swim like them too. :pint:#isurvivedwexford09

2002 was one of the most enjoyable games I was ever at as a neutral. The GAA really got that right with the music and colour. Not sure what happened but they struggled to recreate that since.

Kilkenny won their first Leinster championship in 3 years last year, you mad man.

None. I think he’s referring to '02 when Waterford played Tipp. Still felt like a Munster championship meant something then.

Has the underground drainage collapsed? Or is it just the volume of rain locally?

Not what he said, he was talking through his hole.

In fairness to the Gaelic Grounds the open stand is fine stand to watch a match from but the biggest problem they have isvthst the Mackey stand is terrible and generates little atmosphere and is far too shallow.

It should have been condemned and knocked to the ground after the limerick thugs attacks Aedan Mac Suibhne in 2005

What about the Clare thugs who attached the ref and a Ban Garda after that infamous munster u21 Munster final between Tipp and Clare. Should we have Cusack Park knocked to the ground as well.

Cusack Park should be knocked to the ground for the state of the dressing rooms and toilets alone.

Bit rich for a tipp man to mention that game and thuggery considering Declan Carr manhandled a linesman the same night and Bonner Maher cowardly driving his hurley into the back of Eoin Quilligan.
