All Ireland U21 Football Championship

Actually starts round the 8-9 minute mark.

What’s the gist of it? How did it come that he was talking to McStay on air, a player is it?

Joe Hannigan the Football Chairman i presume.

They were doing a segment on the aftermath of the final and they had McStay on who said he didn’t have much sympathy for Tipp last night and said that they can’t be blaming a defeat on one incident. The Tipp fella came on and started going mental at McStay, he then proceeded to label all sorts of allegations against Tyrone while protesting the innocent and law abiding nature of Tipperary during the game before admitting right at the end that a Tipp player stamped on McShane. Tipp roaster also accused McStay of chickening out.

Chickening out of what?

From answering the questions directed at him.

Disgraceful carry on from Tipp management on that I agree

I’m sure things were raw enough in the immediate aftermath of the match and that the Tipp people involved in the dressing room lockout incident will know themselves that they got it wrong.

Joe Hannigan is a passionate man and lets his emotions get the better of him at times. He would probably have been best advised not to do that interview today.

Semi Finals

Match 4 v Match 5

Will Meath have to form a guard of honour and applaud Dublin out onto the pitch?

Think that only takes place in the Hastings.

Preliminary
Derry v Antrim.

Quarter Final
Cavan v Tyrone
Down v Armagh
Monaghan v Fermanagh.
Donegal v Derry or Antrim

Cavan/Tyrone v Down/Armagh
Donegal/Derry/Antrim v Monaghan/Fermanagh

Looks likely to be another Tyrone-Donegal decider. Tyrone will have five of last year’s starting XV available - Fox, Burns, McShane, Kavanagh and Lee Brennan.

Darrach O’Connor has torn his cruciate which is a blow for Donegal.

Kildare playing some cracking stuff here against Mayo in the u-20 final.

1-09 to 0-06 after twenty mins.

Very good game . Hyland from Kildare looks a real star in the making . He dismantled Kerry and doing same here .

Class player

He is sensational, the county has been waiting for him to get up to the senior panel since he was 14 or so
