Warm weather training for U14’s, sakeing freaks

Huh?.. I never heard of his warm weather training expedition tbh… I did hear Keith Barr’s St. Brigids feile team went alright… apparently one of the players dad’s paid for it…

and here is the truth…

Barr rubbishes overseas training camp for Feile team
27 June 2012

Dublin legend Keith Barr has laughed off rumours that he took his All-Ireland Feile winning St. Brigid’s team to a training camp in Portugal.

The Blanchardstown outfit romped to the Division 1 title at last weekend’s Feile Peil na nOg finals in Laois and Offaly, after which Barr - who won an All-Ireland Feile medal himself with Erin’s Isle 30 years ago - rubbished suggestions that his U14s had entered an overseas training camp in preparation for the competition.

He did confirm, however, that his team had a one-day training camp in Carton House, Maynooth, which was paid for by one of the players’ parents.

“I heard we had a week in Portugal from some people,” the 1995 All-Ireland winning centre back said in The Irish Daily Star.

"Other people say it was Spain and there’s more that tell me it was a weekend in Carton House. If they tell me it was a week, I’ll tell them that it was two!

“We had one day in Carton House. We didn’t go looking for it and we didn’t fundraise for it. One of the parents offered the facility and we accepted.”

You’ve mugged yourself off good and proper here pal, good and proper. It’s been well established on this forum that Christie the freak took kids away to drill them for an U14 tournament. His attempts to deny it made it all the more pathetic.

Apparently Pa O’Callaghan is back involved. We beat Tipp 1-21 to 0-18 recently and he came on as a sub.

Wexford up by 4 at h-t. Dublin are just about hanging in there.
Decent game though.

Wexford should be 10 up

Conor McDonald is some player. That was some goal.

Did ya see his touch a few minutes ago where he went to a fairly hard ball to control and with one hand flicked it over the backs head, then controlled it and actually hit a bad wide but twas some touch

Great to see Alan Thompson put his woes at Celtic behind him and go on to manage Wexford to successive leinster U21 crowns…

eh, wut?

Tipp vs Clare in Ennis tonight. Hard to see past a Clare win but shur ya never know.

Clare are down tots and Shane Odonnell , will be close , 1 pt win would do us thanks…

I have about as much faith in the Tipp management as Shep the dog… Bit of talent in the team though…

Is there an edgy tense atmosphere down there @Kid Chocolate ?

How much faith does Shep have?

Would agree, TJ Connolly has done some job with Cashel since he took over.*
