Have to feel for Tipp there. Massive effort and they really should have won it in normal time.
Clare much better in the first half of extra time. As it was Tipp still had a load of chances and could have nicked it on another night.

What age is Oriordain ?
Gutted after that. Game should have been wrapped up in normal time and panic crept in, in ET. Some excellent prospects in that Tipp team such as Breen, Fox, Meagher, McCormack, Gallagher and O’Riordan in addition to those alread on the seniors such as Barrett, Forde and Ronan Maher.
Liam McGrath was a big loss in the second half, and remember John McGrath missed out altogether with injury.
McGrath is his name.
The world of borderline fouling going on from both sides, not particularly nice to watch.
My bad.
He played minor last year if I remember correctly.
There’ll be a fierce battle for him in years to come between hurling and football.
Turns 19 around October/November.
A far better footballer though and has been heavily linked to AFL.

No chap with his talent would chose football
He could be, I wasn’t sure on him. 18 and 19 overage too.
H’on the Banner!!! Great fucking win.
I saw O’Riordan for the Tipp minors v Limerick last year and he was their best player on the night. Only 19 so a bit of immaturity will be forgiven but I felt that tonight, the same as last year, he got a bit rattled when the game was on the line and took some poor options.
He missed a couple of vital frees late on in the minor game last year and then fouled to hand Limerick two late points if I recall correctly. Fine hurler but strikes me as a lad who’d need a bit of minding.
I think football is actually his favoured sport, open to correction but I think he could be from a predominantly football GAA club?
Lucky there . But a lot of our lads have serious going done the last few weeks. The break to the final will help. Going by syl, forde was the best player on the field ?
He was very impressive but missed a few vital frees at important times.
Fair play to the lad’s.They were written but they went down to Waterford and beat the home side off the field with 14 men. Cork hurling!
Hard luck to Tipp good effort. Tony Kelly hurler of the year, ffs :D. Making a mockery of the award
Not in tipp anyway
He was outstanding tonight
Maybe he’ll find salvage in clonmel apple crush
First year out of minor, one of the best u21 footballers in the country too. Rumours of him going to Aussie Rules but I hope that’s all they are because we need him in hurling and football
Despicable conduct by Austin Gleeson tonight feigning injury to get a Cork player sent off.
