OâLoughlin Gaels clubhouse isnât too bad, pitch isnât too far from the town centre either.
Both semi-finals will be interesting. Wexfordâs win over Kilkenny was very impressive, even if Kilkenny werenât what they once were. Tipp a step up again, obviously, and do seem to want to win the league this year but unlikely to be at Championship pace while Wexford seem to be flying. I think Tipp are the better team, but expect a good contest.
And Limerick-Galway is a strange one in that theyâve just played, Galway by far the better team in the second half that day, dominated physically. Be interesting to see if Limerick have learned from their mistakes, hard to imagine theyâll be as poor in the second half again. How interested are Galway? Great comeback against Waterford but how they found themselves in that position in the first place would be a worry.
Relax. A fully fit Wexford team beat a half fit KK team on the decline. Tipp will beat us easily enough. Theyâre miles a better a team than we are.
Iâd take a respectable 7 or 8 point win to temper championship expectations. Our lads will plateau soon enough this season given their bodies wonât be able to cope with all the training theyâre doing
See ye in summer and @ChocolateMice as I saId league means fuck all look whoâs in the semis C C @caulifloweredneanderthal
You had your Clare jersey on for 2 months last year when Clare won itâŚ
Lies. But it was big teams
We donât wear jerseys in April
I have picturesâŚ
Donagh Maher apparently tore hamstring. Bubbles and Niall OâMeara doubtful.
Doesnât matter. It all depends how much Tipp want it. The next two games will be nothing more than glorified challenge matches for ye
Bubbles might need an op iâm hearing -
They might extend the surgeons knife to the vocal chords too hopefully
One thing in Wexfordâs favour is that physicality and workrate tends to slow Tippâs scoring rate significantly, as evidenced by several games with Galway, and Kilkenny in the league this year. Wexford look to be in better physical condition than anyone else right now so maybe they can knock Tipp off their stride. Worth remembering that Clare beat Tipp with 2-13 at the knockout stages last year.
Ye are not playing tipp this year
Fixed that there for ya joeđ
Thanks forgot about the Munster final
Tipp do seem to be ahead of where they were at this stage last year. Winning an All-Ireland obviously does wonders for your confidence, but they seem to be motoring along nicely, very sure in what they have to do. Whereas last year they were only working towards that.
Tipp wonât lose a game in 2017
They do. And whether the internal competition is for real or not, it certainly looks to be driving performance levels at the moment.
