Tippās 4 & 5th goals were pretty special yesterday. The Bubbles-McGrath combination was outrageous. Is there another team in the country that would have tried to create a goal in that situation? Not even Kilkenny at this point Iād say.
He gave Wexford an awful lot below in Wexford Park the first day out this year and - bar the blatant Free out he didnāt give that led to a Tipp goal early on - he seemingly didnāt give Tipp much either yesterday.
All that roaring and shouting Davy did yesterday - and does pretty much every day on the sideline - definitely influences referees no matter what they say. Kirwan was completely cowed by him, didnāt even usher him off as Davy was giving him an earful and threatening to start a brawl.
Iāll never forgive the cunt for the 2006 league final. Horta clearly dropped the hurley for Kilkenny third goal that day. Donāt think we would have won bit the decision to allow that goal was abysmal
I have only ever seen him having a negative effect on referees at this level.
Kirwan may or may not have previous with Tipp and poor refereeing decisions.
It is impressive how many goals DFās poorly designed sweeper system concedes. It makes a hero of a decent player but sells out his entire FB line in doing so and leaves way too much space between the HB and FB lines just to give the loose player room to work. To beat it you just need to draw the sweeper away from a central position, it isnāt even remotely difficult.
Must be his Offaly background
P.S. I have no idea what you are talking about. I was talking about Davy v. Leading coaches/managers in coaching terms
The Pope of Waterford John Mullane has a cut off Kirwan
You get the impression Mullen has being waiting to let loose on Davy for a long time
Big time. I think heās had a few pops at him in the past
He has ya but not to this degree. I think its the āIāve two all ireland medals, you have fuck allā remark that really has him irked and heāll never get over it .
Apologies, the reply was meant for someone else
That was Eoin Kelly he said that to, unless he did it to Mullane as well?
No I stand corrected then. I was sure twas Millage.
Mullane ran up to him and roared in his face after the game, so I would say there was other shit being said, the 2 all irelands to Kelly was caught on the RTE cameras the day of the game
found it here actually
Jesus that effort at writing is an embarrassment to whoever ghost writes for mullane.
It was from the Irish Indo so wouldnāt expect much better
That article sounds like it was dictated from the payphone after a few pints.
Did Mick Ryan really say āat our pearlā?
Are you an English teacher?
A pretend one, yeah.
