Entertaining enough stuff, getting “spicier” as the game goes on, and it’s us racking up the cards. Dublin are actually profiting more from the overlap game, whereas we are doing better from the odd direct ball into the full forward line, who have been fairly starved. To that end we’re really missing Hannon. Mulcahy coming back into a bit of form after a hit and miss league. O’Loughlin looking fairly nervy. Dub half backs on top, Morrissey and Hayes in particular are getting little change

Sutcliffe is a top class hurler. Mulcahy won’t be giving up his spot without a fight, pick of the forwards. DOD on an awful lot of ball, doing serious work.

Very congested midfield. We need to get the ball in quicker. I think we’re always looking for an extra pass. Very few frees given. Entertaining game.

Strong wind behind limerick in second half and I’d expect them to win. Dublin coming along nicely but short up front. Mark Schutte, Keamey and rushe will be needed during summer
