I know one of the engineers who worked on the redevelopment of PUC. Said it was a joke to pump money into the site but they wouldn’t listen to any advice. At one stage there was trial holes being dug in some area and the water just flowing up out of it.

Must have been a few townies in at it. They hate Leix in Carlow Town. The rest of the county would be indifferent to Leix. Probably something to do with Leix annexing Graiguecullen back in the 1920’s or 30’s. They’re welcome to Graiguecullen anyway. Its an awful shithole. Carlow Town contributes nothing any more to the county hurling team. All the serious hurling is in the south of the county along the Wexford and Kilkenny border.

On a point of order, Carlow is south east, not midlands.
