Itās fair to say that including GearĆ³id McKiernan isnāt a progressive move. A great servant but at 36 he aināt getting any more lively.

The fact that Louth won the Leinster U20 and Minor last year supports that opinion too. Dublin havenāt won a provincial U20 title since 2020 apparently.

Could see him getting a higher profile county if he has a successful league/championship there, but heād want to do 2/3 seasons, and not job-hop after a year. Get used to developing players over time, and man management.

Hard judge him on tonight, Westmeath melted down. Loughlin was utter shit, Collins had him in his pocket
Kildare have an amount of work to do yet, but Iām not sure you can make horses into footballers. Leinster is between Louth Meath and Laois.
