Allianz National Hurling League 2023

He is mad for goals.

Too easy tonight though. No one near him.

The dreaded @Lazarus vote of confidence

True. He has an eye for them all the same. Just needs the bit of confidence.

Waterford will have to stop getting red cards in every game first. Fairly sure they have gotten them in all 4 league games so far.

He is deadly when given the opportunity. Always hits the ball into the ground. Unstoppable for the keeper. He had an acre of room tonight though you still have to put them in the net in fairness.

With the caveat that I’d say nobody is bothering marking him at this stage, Jason Forde has thrown over a few classy scores since he came in

Dessie with the Seanie McGrath style point there when the game is over

If Forde had been playing the whole game he could have ended up with 30 points and beat them on his own.

Tipperary will take some stopping in the League.

I predicted Limerick, Cork and Tipp to escape Munster in the poll a few weeks back but after seeing what Clare did in Wexford Park two weeks ago I’m starting to waver on that.

Davy said last night that this is a Waterford team halfway through their life cycle but I would be of the opinion that the cycle started as far back as 2014/15 for this group and I can’t see them going at it in 2030.

They love their hurling in Tipp

Who are the TG4 pundits?

Agreed. Waterford were the better team bar a 2 minute spell when Barron saw red and they conceded 2 quick goals. Davy just needs to get them to chill the beans and they’ll win Munster handy

Jake Morris is the ideal player for the system Cahill employs. He’s brilliant at drifting into space, making runs off defenders and engineering goal chances.

Pity the red card came, it killed it. Was a really enjoyable game up to that.

They can’t hide it now. Tipp are back.

His finishing in summer is poor tbh, if he could sort that then he is a lethal forward

You could argue if Waterford had Morris tonight they would have won that game.

Cahills tactics certainly suit Morris’s game.
