He must train very well though; I know Sheedy took a lot of criticism re: “Portroe Mafia” when he was there. Can’t really apply that to Cahill so he must impress along the way.
He can strike, I guess, but he has never stood out in any particular facet to me.
Cahill must have some faith in him, was he not man of the match in the 2018 U-21 AI the year Cork beat the bollix out of them in rhe Munster Final.
He’s the most likely player on the pitch to get a red card on any given day. I’d wonder is this tough man style favoured by some inter county managers.
He’s a decent striker of the ball without ever scoring. He’s fairly fast and can carry ball but but but his tackling is poor or reckless. He’s not strong enough in the air either.
Good club player but that’s it.
I’m convinced he knows where the bodies are buried or something.

McCarthy, Reidy & Rodgers seem to all be freetaking options for Clare.
McCarthy took them in Championship last year when they were all on the pitch.
I’ve pints on board, am I missing anything obvious? Are any of the midfield/backs not playing?
are any of the forward not starting or not taking frees?
I’d stick King CON on there somewhere. He will get a lot of gametime.
