[indent=1]Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers is looking forward to the visit of Celtic as he continues his preparations for the new season.
Neil Lennon’s team visit the Liberty Stadium on Wednesday, and Rodgers admits there are several reasons for anticipating the Hoops arrival.
“For me this friendly is a great occasion for a number of reasons,” said Brendan. "Firstly it’s our first game at the Liberty as a Premier League team.
"Secondly, we welcome to this great stadium a club famous throughout the world for its passionate support and an excellent team to give us a severe test at this stage of our preparation.
"Thirdly, as a boyhood Celtic supporter it’s a special occasion whenever they play and I welcome a great man in Neil Lennon, the directors and people connected with.
“And, of course, a special welcome to the travelling supporters that I have stood alongside in the past.”
