I’m going to Wexford this weekend. I don’t plan on doing anything tonight but I’m meant to be going out tomorrow night. I was hoping to see the Fagan-Khan fight but I doubt many pubs in Wexford will have ordered it in. It’s not going to be too hectic a weekend but I’ll be increasing the tempo ahead for Christmas from next week onwards.

We have had this discussion before about fuckers come out clogging up the pubs just because it is Christmas. I think you coined the phrase ‘imagine letting the calendar dictate your drinking intake’. You do not increase your tempo for Christmas. You stay at the same tempo all year around.

I think we unwittingly increase the tempo over “the Christmas”. But because we are year-round drinkers, we are entitled to it.
