How can I get one up on the next lad by showing off how patriotic and Aussie I am by glorifying war and banging on about how aussie servicemen (we ignire the wonen, doesn’t fit into the narrative) saved the world.
You spat on them and treated them like shit when they came back from war and continue to do so.
$500 million for an extension on the War Memorial (now sponsored by a weapons manufacturer, I kid you not) a showroom for millitary hardware. But fuck all to help kids you sent off to kill innocents in Afghanistan and Iraq.

A wonderful commemoration that should always be remembered. Their sacrifice for their King and Country and Empire in repelling and defeating Kaiser and Sultan will never be forgotten.
