I think Roma and Zeman are going to shake the footballing world to its foundations and win Serie A in 2013. We may be 12 points behind right now but Roma have also been slow starters and strong finishers. The pieces are finally beginning to fall into place, if De Rossi’s performance against Milan is anything to go by we will be an unstoppable force in 2013. A huge encounter in Naples will kick action off next Saturday, Derby del Sole. I think I would be giving this game a soft sell if I said it was going to be the game of the year, it could very well be the greatest game ever played.

We have been linked with him strongly ever since the Americans came in, however this has always been met with strong denials. He’s a very good player no doubt but hasn’t played football in over a year now and paying any sort of decent money for a guy with such grave knee problems would be a deterrent. I also think we are fine in attack, Pjanic is more suited to that attack and we have four top class attackers in Totti, Lamela, Osvaldo and Destro, Lopez looks like a promising player too. I’d be much more adamant to see a right back or regista signed in this transfer. I’m happy with the squad the way it is but if we can improve it then why not.
