Is there a reason most Serie A signings this summer are loans with options to purchase. Obvious cash flow losses due to Covid-19 is a massive factor but this trend seems to predate that. FFP accounting chicanery, all the clubs are broke or is there a sporting reason - try before you buy?
Itās to do with FFP alright, allows them to defer the costs until later periods.
With the likes of Karsdorp though Iād say itās more Genoa being unsure on him, he signed for Roma when he was highly thought of, had a knee injury that kept him out for a bit, came back and did his ACL.

Looks like weāre not going to pay what Utd want for Smalling so will move for Armando Izzo instead.
