Eire are apparently to change kit suppliers to New Balance from August 2017.
I do not welcome this news at all.
Very disappointing to see a proper association football brand like Umbro get the boot and I fear this may derail Eire’s prospect’s of qualifying for the World Cup.
New Balance are a quality manufacturer and have always produced excellent football boots, they’ve had a long association with Irish sport through athletics etc I think.
Bryan Robson always got injured wearing them.
Thank god the Irish Football Assocaition retain Addidas .
