Its actually outrageous if think about the progress we made as a species. Watching a video from an unmanned prove we sent to another planet on a smartphone connected to the Internet, which is accessible worldwide, on a website for discussing hurling, soccer and cark weirdos. And all I’m worried about is getting a haircut and pints

It was looking it up there and it’s currently 208 MILLION kms from Earth. To put that in context, if we were all shrunk to a size where Dublin & Sydney were just a metre apart, Mars would be 12km away.
That fact we’re able to land a robot on it and get it to send Instagram snaps home is incredible.
