Astronomy and Space related matters thread

Another interesting analogy is based on the fact there are 100 billion stars in the Milky Way galaxy and 100 billion brain cells in the average human brain, with each brain cell having thousands of connections with other cells. Perhaps a galaxy is just a big brain with yet to be discovered communication pathways between stars.

If we survive as a species, I suppose we will eventually populate the universe as virtual humans.

Let me mull over that for a while

Sleep on it.

Everything will eventually die… There’s no point to anything.

Are you going down to the beach later?

Not today… Pool day.

I’m out on the balcony here on my own having a beer after a feed of fresh calamari and prawns… Looking up at the night sky, listening to the sound of the Mediterranean and wondering what’s the point of it all.

Think it’s bbq tomorrow, probably tuna steak… what’s it all about?

Is it a wrap around balcony like mine?

It’s not, pal… You have me there.

It’s quite deep and wide tho.

I’d say Tom Petty is having similar thoughts right now mate
