Morocco won gold in the 10,000 at the 88 and 92 Olympics.
Turkey have grabbed a few too
96 too they won a 10k medal. Since then though it’s been all 1500 and 5000 I think where they have had success. Might have had a marathon medal along the way.

Yeah - certainly it is clear from the Russian stories and athletes who have admitted doping without failing tests that the testing does not catch most of them.
But I saw a clip of an interview with Roger Black on television yesterday and he said that’s not the case - that the vast majority of athletes are clean, and while there will probably always be a few that try to cheat, they do that because they aren’t good enough to compete with the best, clean athletes.
Roger Black is a very straightlaced, clean cut, wholesome sort of a chap - I wouldn’t be surprised if his father is a vicar - and there’s no way he would lie about something like this.

If anything you could argue tgwir genetics are stronger for alot of sports compared to others. They had just dropped behind the technology of drugs the rest were using.
In trying to expose the Russians they have exposed the world.
