A black Labrador can be cross seemingly, was your fella “cross”?
They’d do serious damage to the house for the first couple of years — the bastards would ate or chew anything… lovely dogs tho.
No he had a great temperament.
I got mine when he was 3 years old.
they had one at the DSPCA family day on Saturday. it was a working dog but was great with all the kids hanging out of it, loving the attention.
id say grooming the fuckers would be an awful job
they’d tear you limb from limb if they thought you were a threat to it’s family.
Extended family have had two dogs from the monaghan spca, they’re great dogs, accurately /responsibly described etc. It’s nice for kids to start off with a pup though.
Bickey looks a lovely animal. Pointers tend to be very loyal, biddable and family friendly.

I’d say I’ll get my next dog off a pound. I want something with street smarts like @Fagan_ODowd dog Bobby. Don’t want to be watching a puppy figuring out the rules of the road and worrying about him getting mowed down. First rule with next dog is he understands the safe cross code.
I’ve a black lab and he’s as docile as a lamb.
I’ve had two, the very same. They have a lovely nature.
we have 2 golden labs. More likely to lick a stranger to death than bark at them. They might bark once or twice, but more likely to be asleep lying around and then go over looking for a pat on the head. Great for kids, not great for guard dogs.
Where the fuck do you live?
Any movement at night outside and she’ll let us know.
I’m currently training my fella to jump over obstacles. It’s amazing what 20min of effort and a few treats can achieve. In a month il be expecting him to clear grand high jumps at full speed.
