A lovely bit of rope

He came with that, Kerry savages!

Noticed that the price of all pups regardless of breed seems to have rocketed in the last 8-9 months! Jacks normally 100-250 now 450-500, German Shepherds usually between 500-700 up to 950-1200 what the fuck?

Pedigree dogs being robbed all over the place in Cork - what’s going on?

If social media is to be believed there’s nothing but roving gangs out stealing dogs from in front of peoples houses.

A huge amount of dogs missing these past few months.

They intercepted a fella with a van load of stolen pups in Belfast port the other day.

A piece on the radio about it over the weekend. Demand has shot up for dogs since lockdown came in. Loads of families have decided to get one as they feel/think it is a good idea. And maybe it is with more people WFH now longer term. But ultimately it has led to a knock on and increased the demand across the black market.

Heaps of dogs stolen around Limerick seemingly.

Heard rumours that there is a “van” driving around mobile home parks in West clare snatching dogs. A springer that just had pups was robbed pups and all. Mother was found with her chip dug out. Pups turned up in England in a halting site

On the radio piece, they mentioned a woman had her dog stolen in Limerick and she somehow got her back but was then stolen again a few days later.

I’d say a lot of it is to do with cost lads.

Dogs can be expensive and a lot of gang aren’t working. I’d say a lot of milo’s are going for a walk and aren’t coming back
