Great dogs, if the children poke too far they get a nip & learn. If they play nice the dogs is it’s best friend.
They’d keep an army of Outdoor Fire smelling visitors a mile back and let you know if a car was 2 miles away.
Great to keep the Rats away too.

Depends on how sociable you let them be from a young age.
Each to their own but I’m not in favour of cross breeding designer dogs. But whatever works for the family.

I’ve done zero research on this only to be told that Nuala in facilities has one and he’s fierce smart, a shrewd operator if you like and mighty with the kids.
Yoi have as much chance of getting the bad traits of both breeds as good. A bad poodle is a cunt

Our terrier is sound as a pound with big dogs, an oil sniff and a bit of messin, respectfully careful with other terriers, she won’t start it but by Christ she’d try to finish it if the other gets saucy,
Hates the little furry cunts, she’s be hopping up and down on two legs at the window when they’re passing the house,
The Maltese and the Bichons are the worst, the cockatoos seem pure dopey but they’re fairly quiet
The thing is that the kids will love any dog, they’ll pester you for a little furry prick but after a few days the novelty of that is gone and it doesn’t matter a fuck what you have,
I liove my terrier, we’re great pals, but the Labrador is an incredible dog, loves everyone and everything, you couldn’t ask for more in a dog but he has the house and garden wrecked and he sheds like a motherfucker

Brady is as quiet and sweet a dog you’ll get but shedding and grooming is work. Other than that collies have a beautiful temperament. He’s due a good brushing tho
