Cracking dogs. Not the easiest to train, though.
Not very.
I don’t mind lively though - vicious I do mind.
Can get quite lively. Father in law had one. Needs lots of walking. Follow thier nose as per their hunter nature. If not trained they may not come back to you ever off the leash.
I’m no expert mind. Defo do your research. If from the rescue shelter then big chance theyll have behavioral problems to start with
How is she settling in?
Supposedly the hardest dog of them all to domesticate
Thanks for the comments lads .
Terrier might be an easier house dog. They’re as happy in front of a fire as been out & about.
Plenty of good rescue ones about.
Cheers.
I had collies growing up. One fantastic one, one good one and one vicious little bastard.
A Great Dane would be little to you mate.
Greyhounds are becoming very popular, pal. I met one recently. Lovely dog.
I’ll get a rescue greyhound when the time comes 100%.
Lovely lovely dogs.
At present we have a rescue cat which is on the spectrum cc @ the permanently offended.
Unfriendly thankless little bastard (we did have his nuts cut off mind, so he has cause enough).
They’re beautiful animals but I’ve seen it said a number of times that you can’t let them off the lead because their nose is so sensitive and they are so intelligent and inquisitive that if they catch a whiff of something they are gone. I met someone recently that used breed them and they said that can depend on the dog too, some are grand and will come back when called and others would be up and gone over the horizon.
Pure couch potatoes.
Is there much difference in temperament between a greyhound and a lurcher?
What was Niles’s dog in Frasier? She seemed very friendly.
That was a whippet.
And the father Martin had a Fox terrier
Maris
TinTin also had a fox terrier
