Cheap NI pints?

No pal. Had them about 8km inside the border our side.

Christ but 50 years ago Harp was a savage summertime drink, especially when most pubs had Harp tankards and you could carry about 8 pints back to a table in one smooth movement.

I tried a pint in Enniskillen a few years ago and wasn’t impressed.

I wouldn’t do it.
We’ve no Harp down here.

I’ll bring a few crates of the pint bottles back with me.

You’d find it if you looked for it I’d say?

There was a NI crowd type wedding in Kilkee a few years ago.
They hotel bought in a few barrels of Harp.
They sold it off cheap after.
It wasn’t great…

Tis bad stuff, you can still get it on tap in North Kerry and West Limerick. But I am not a fan.

I think they must have started trying to push it to the publicans again recently as I’ve noticed more taps in recent years.
