As I’ve asked before, can some of you genii let me know when this crash is going to happen?

April next year.

I’d say you’ll start to see the seeds sown in about 18 months in WA anyway. Going by what I hve read about China an india’s short term outlooks it’s going to start hitting Oz about then. There will be the denial phase and a pouring of what ever little money then have into the resource sector. Then BHP and the likes will start to cut jobs, projects will be stalled, stopped or finished quickly. All the small trade companies like concrete formers, steel fixing companies etc etc who are up to their noses in debt for equipment hire purchased to race off up north and also have the personal debt if 4 houses, 3 cars, a motorbike, quad bikes and a speed boat all based on short term mine earnings, will go to the wall. And they will go ti the wall fast and hard and it will be awful.

There is so much new money here it’s unbelievable an the people don’t know themselves. The ordinary trade person here, or in fact the ordinary person In General in not as educated Or as copped on as your ordinary Irish or European. While many back home also refused to listen to the experts who warned of this type of crash (David McWilliams etc) some at least did, there is no David McWilliams here and main stream mediate as blind as the people who then sell their media to.

Anecdotal iknow, but it’s a common story. I worked with a forming company on and off for a while. he just worked in Perth. He told me he spent 400K on props and lumber alone to get started. He us now unable to keep hi regular 3 guys busy and they are doing 2-3 day weeks. There are many stories like this, it’s simply unsustainable. In this company that’s his family affected, one if the full timers has 2 kids, and 2 other single lads. Multiply that by all the people doing the same thing cos the banks will give money to anyone. This fella Is a serious worker, but has no clue how to develop business and is one of many I met. But there is absolutely no due diligence been done on people. So don’t give me this shitr about highly regulated banks, it’s all codswallop thrown out there by politicians am banks to ease people’s worries about the impact if the global recession.

If you can’t see that ditzy then you have learned nothing from why happened in your own country and many others.

:o ah fuck, will be on the move again so. Where else in the Commonwealth can I go? Canada or Trinidad & Tobago it seems

Chinese Keynesianism is keeping the Australian economy and the Irish social welfare system afloat.

Ya true, but using him as an example of someone with an opposing view. You get very little or none of that here. I don’t read the Age but have heard there is some decent balance there.

real head in the sand stuff here from fisty

Fitzy and his mates having a few tinnies around the barbie: “won’t happen here mate, we ain’t like those thick paddies”

Fisty “the fundamentals are sound, we are in for a soft landing”

“it’s not boom and bust, it’s boom and bloom!”

Australian banks are well capitalised

Fisty must have bought a few gaffs for big money and started playing landlord, he’s trying to convince himself everything will be ok

Apparently today is ‘R U OK?’ day in Australia.

I don’t mind a bit of banter from worthy posters like Balbec, WTB or forum legend The Runt, but who the fuck are you?Are you one of these AFR newbies? Fuck off you no mark cunt.

Tassotti despite his relatively low key posting over here has been around the internet for a long time.
