It is a crib from Tipperary. Theyâve disgraced themselves over this.

âThis is not a crib from Tipperary, or from me, itâs just an observation because the same happened in both hurling and football this year.
Dublin had two players and didnât get footballer of the year.âThe simple fact is a Tipperary hurler will never win hurler of the year under the current system. Could you imagine some bitter hick from clare or cork voting for Seamie Callinan or Paudie Maher, I couldnât.

No they havenât, disgracing yourself is losing a Munster Final by more than 20 points, a scenario you have much experience of, Iâm afraid.
Austin Gleeson was head and shoulders above every other hurler this year. Itâs as simple as that, mate.

Youâre so seething over this, youâre battering the fucking keyboard and quoting me twice.
He was shit against the best team in the country mate
He was top class in both games against Kilkenny

Except in the Munster Final mate, he was shit in that. What about the league final replay when a Tony Kelly inspired Clare rattled off the last four points to win, where was aussie? Or the closing stages of the AI Semi Final when Kilkenny there for the taking, what did aussie do?
He effectively got hurler of the year for his displays against a shit clare team and two matches against a Kilkenny team that subsequently got the bollocks beat out of them by Tipperary.
When he hurled against the best team in the country in the Munster Final, aussie was on the missing list.

Iâm on the phone from my sick bed bud.
Kilkenny were shit this year as Tipp showed. Gleeson was shit against Tipp
Iâm going to post some of my favourite Austin Gleeson moments.

Youâre seething so much over this, it has made you illâŚ
heâs so mad he had to go into bed and lie down
You should put the phone down, pal. The fever is getting to you.
It is a best player award pal, he won it at a canter.
He did nothing against the only good team he played apart from he should have got sent off
What should he have been sent off for?
So? He showed himself to be the best player in the country in all the other games he played. It really is as simple as that. Him being on a team that lost to the eventual champions doesnât matter a jot because no one else was better over the course of the season.
