I fancy Clermont to beat Saracens today. Clermont are coming into this in excellent form only lost once in their last 13 matches. That was last week where they rested six of their first team. The Heineken cup is their main priority all year as it is their centenary year. They are a formidable team with class all over the pitch. They have a backline that could rip any team to shreads on their day. Parra is back at scrumhalf as well today which is a massive plus for them.
Saracens are 2nd in the Aviva premership, but got beaten by Harlequins last week in Twickenham. They were awful that day. The English teams are been proven once again to be over-rated, and Saracens are no different. They are an honest group but have no flashy players that can turn a game. They also rely too heavily on Farrell with penalties. Hodgson and Wigglesworth are the halfback pairing today, 2 very average players, who are flakey at the best of times.
I honestly canā€™t see Saracens win this, Clermont just have too much class all over the field.
